1)
What is an E-Book?
E-Book
is short for Electronic Book which is read on your computer's
screen.
Just like a real book, your E-Books can contain text and pictures,
but there's more!
An AABS E-Book can also incorporate animations, sounds and
links to web sites
Our E-Books are searchable which makes them ideal for students
and researchers looking for a particular quotation or passage.

2)What
are the software requirements to read your books?
AABS
E-Books are self-contained Windows programs (.exe) that can
be run by simply double clicking on them. The only requirements
are Windows 9x or later and Internet Explorer 4 (IE4) or later.
YOU DO NOT NEED ADOBE ACROBAT OR ANY OTHER BOOK READER WITH
OUR BOOKS.

3)How
do I read an E-Book?
Just like a 'normal' book. But instead of turning pages by
hand you click on the 'Previous' or 'Next' buttons on the
screen. AABS have also set up the screen to look like a web
page so you can use your own browser's buttons to move through
the book too!
We
have provided a 'Search' button so you can search through
the WHOLE BOOK for words / phrases - and a 'Find' button so
you can search for a word / phrase on the page you are viewing.

How can I read or browse a book to see if I will like it?
Go to our book page and read the short description about each
book. Click on the 'download' link and download the book to
your hard drive. This is FREE. Double click on the book icon
you have downloaded to your hard drive (in the form of an
.exe file) and it will install itself as a stand alone book.
Then, you can read one or more selected pages FREE.

I lent a copy of the book to a friend and it will not work
on their PC.
Good - that means our protection program works! Your password
is unique to you and your PC. If a copy is made (other than
by us) either onto a CD or onto another PC the book will not
unlock.
